Joseph Guenzer, MD (he/him/his)

In addition to being an assistant medical director for University of Utah AirMed, Dr. Guenzer holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Guenzer is a board-certified intensivist with interests in mechanical circulatory support (MCS), transfusion medicine and anticoagulation reversal, and medical education. Dr. Guenzer has extensive experience in the management of MCS patients and has been instrumental in updating institutional practices in the acute stabilization and pre-hospital management of MCS patients.
