Dr. Grabowski is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, dual boarded in adult and pediatric acute care, and he serves as the Lead APP/Chief Flight Nurse Practitioner for Metro Life Flight. In this role, Dr. Grabowski serves as a clinical leader to the Metro Life Flight Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Paramedics, guiding education, program quality improvement, and program operations. Dr. Grabowski has practiced in flight and critical care transport for over a decade and has almost two decades of experience in EMS. Dedicated to the fields of critical care transport and EMS, Dr. Grabowski promotes disseminating evidence-based practice into these fields through his regional and national lectures, research, and journal/textbook publications. In addition to this, Dr. Grabowski has held roles in Emergency Medicine, Cardiovascular Surgical ICU, Nursing Leadership/Administration, Nursing Education (Case Western Reserve University Faculty), Tactical EMS (US Marshal Service), and deployed military medicine (US Army).
