This session will present a patient scenario with a constellation of bradycardia, renal failure, AV nodal blockade, shock, and hyperkalemia (BRASH Syndrome) with an ensuing discussion of the identification and management of these patients in the prehospital and transport setting. The speakers will discuss the pathophysiology of BRASH syndrome, highlighting the synergy between its components, as well as relevant pharmacotherapy and treatment considerations.

Describe the pathophysiology of BRASH syndrome
Identify clinical findings suggestive of BRASH syndrome
Formulate an evidence-based treatment plan to reduce morbidity and mortality in a patient with BRASH syndrome
