Patient safety is a something we tend to take for granted. Terms such as SMS, CRM and crosscheck conjure images of tail rotors and power lines. Yet the rates of clinical care errors are staggering. What if we take these proven strategies and apply them to the clinical setting? In this session we will review real-world examples of medical misadventures. Most importantly we will apply proven strategies to improve care and protect this vulnerable population - our patients.
