Gordon Harwell

Aviation Safety Manager
PHI Air Medical

Gordon Harwell is the Aviation Safety Manager for PHI Air Medical responsible for the Line Activity Monitoring Program (LAMP), Line Operations Safety Audit (LOSA), and other aviation operations safety programs. He is an Airline Transport Pilot rated for Helicopters, Multi-Engine and Single-Engine Airplanes, and remains qualified as an S-76 IFR Captain supporting customer flight programs. He previously worked as a Line Training Captain, Instructor, and Check Airman in the S-76 and AW139 for PHI Oil and Gas. Before PHI, Gordon spent nine years in the United States Marine Corps as a Naval Aviator, Aviation Safety Officer, and CRM Instructor.
