Ryan is a Flight Nurse/ Paramedic and Clinical Educator for the non-profit air medical service HALO-Flight, headquartered near Corpus Christi, Texas. Ryan has been with HALO-Flight for nearly 14 years and has previously served as an aircraft firefighter in the U.S. Marine Corps and as a municipal firefighter for Kingsville, Texas and Portland, Texas Fire Departments. During his tenure he obtained his EMT-B, EMT-I, and Paramedic certifications while working in fire-based EMS systems and for private 911-EMS agencies within south Texas. Prior to assuming his current role as clinical educator, Ryan was primarily responsible for outreach training and education to the EMS providers within HALO-Flight's 16 county primary response area.
