Carol Hasty MS, RN has been a nurse for more than 38 years. After two and a half years in adult nursing, she found her passion with pediatric nursing. Carol has worked for Children's Health for more than 36 years in a variety of roles. She started in the Emergency Department and eventually was promoted into several varying managerial roles. Carol has been with the Children's Health Neonatal and Pediatric team for 24 years, serving in the capacity of the outreach/community liaison. In her role, Carol is the liaison with the community referrals, develops the teams marketing collateral and organizes and produces countless community educational and public events. Carol has been honored as one of the DFW Great 100 nurses and the American Red Cross Good Neighbor Award.
