In this presentation, we will introduce participants to the science of positive psychology. We will explore the idea of learned helplessness and how various aspects of positive psychology, from relationships and belonging to mattering and engagement, can be applied to how we run our agencies and how we treat ourselves and our patients. What are we missing that could help increase morale and combat burnout to create successful long-lasting careers in EMS?
